We start at 10:00 usually at a pub and the walk is around 2-5 miles. We then recuperate at the pub although it is optional whether you stay for lunch. The walks are usually within a 30 min travelling time of Solihull. A recent walk was from the Saracens Head in Balsall Common.

Decent footwear is essential and certainly in winter most people have walking boots. If it is raining before we start, then the leader may phone and cancel the walk.

We are a fairly social group and enjoy a good chat along the way as well as stopping to admire the views. New walkers are always very welcome so contact the group leader for more information.
