We are full at the moment, but could always help to set up another group.
We take it in turns to speak on the given subject for about 3/4 hour, then stop for tea and biscuits.
The topics for each meeting are decided by discussion amongst ourselves. It might be an author, a poet or a painter.
Sometimes we watch a film on TV, read Shakespeare, plays, arrange theatre visits to Stratford on Avon.

In 2023 We had a short break in County Durham where we saw a performance of Kynren in Bishops Auckland.
It is an epic tale. Which travelled through time and brought legends to life. We saw Two thousand years of history, myth and legend rush by in 90 minutes as we joined young Arthur on his epic quest. Rebellions, wars, magic, majesty, celebration and heartache were vividly brought to ground-shaking life in a dazzling outdoor-theatre spectacular. From Boudicca’s battles with the Romans to two world wars, via Vikings, Tudors and the fate of Charles I .
